Why?

Sometimes we have the best intentions. We are faithful to a calling for years and years. We still desire the calling yet the Lord has something else for us to do. What do we say? Of course, it is why? Today, I want to encourage you to instead be thankful for the change. Be thankful to the One who is changing your direction. I'm in the midst of such a change. Our church has been faithful since day one of serving a Thursday night meal. For over 5 years it has been this way. Next week will be the last, at least for now. Instead of saying why, I'm saying "God, I'm excited to see what you are doing next!" Killing the sacred cow is always difficult. Yet, I'm excited to see what's next. So, who is with me?
