Desire

Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.

(Proverbs 16:24 NIV)

How are you this morning? How would you describe yourself in one word? The words we use will certainly drive the way we feel. I want you to pick out one of these words and own it today. If you read this late in the day, do this tomorrow. Positive - Happy - Fortunate - Generous - Excellent - Kind - Imaginative - Reliable - Nice - Valued - Terrific.

I believe God wants you to see yourself as He sees you. If you are struggling today picking one of this words, ask a friend to describe you. Or become one of these words that you desire to be. God wants us to desire. It’s good to desire. It is important, however, what you desire. Desire the good in life. Desire to help others. Desire to put your best foot forward. Desire to love and good deeds.

So, I’ll ask you, how would you describe me? Which of these 11 words best describes how you see me? Now, do it to those who you encounter today. Imagine, if we all had something good to say to everyone we encounter?
