Quit Fighting

We have a wonderful opportunity before us. What will we do with it? Have you ever really consider who you are in Christ? Todays verse speaks volumes to that point…

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

(Romans 8:37 NKJV)

Paul was facing great obstacles when he penned these words. Paul also never considered them to be effective against what really mattered. How could we be more than conquerors? What does that mean?

Obstacles in life are designed by the evil one to get you off track from a healthy, loving relationship with God. More than a conqueror doesn’t fight for something they already have. More than an a conqueror relies on who provided the victory already. Are you facing trials - pray in Jesus name and believe the victory is yours. Remember this, nothing will separate you from the love of God that is in Christ.

Sometimes we need to persevere through extremely difficult ordeals - sometimes we don’t get what we want - sometimes we’ve lost something/someone very valuable to us - today maybe the day to quit fighting the pain, the hurt, the loss and be more than a conqueror - allow the love that Christ has for you to heal those old deep pains. Instead of fighting the pain, try to allow God’s love to permeate your mind, your heart, your soul. I hope this helps - deep down pain is hard to let go of, I understand. Perhaps today can be a day to quit trying to conqueror it, and allow yourself to be more than a conqueror - be overwhelming loved by a good and gracious Lord - stop the urge to fight it and allow yourself to believe these amazing words - you are more than a conqueror - you are loved by the almighty
