No place like home

We've just spent 2 weeks in Hudson, Quebec. Most would think, "how nice, a vacation." Alas, what we did was work on a home we own. Non-stop. It is a home built in 1904 by my wife's great-great gpa. Sometimes feels like that was the last time anyone worked on it. However, there is something sincerely gratifying in returning a classic into a timeless beauty. But, after 2 weeks of 12-16 hour days, I feel like it might take a coupe days for that to resonate with me. Truly, it is great to be home.
